Halloween!

is on it's way!
YES! =D

i missed out a lot on it in my youth,
deprived child here i know :'(

but it just never happened in our neighbourhood.

until I was about fifteen.
then I was like, bugger!


So! today, i should get onto before that tangent gets too long :3

i suppose i shouldn't say too much.
well...i got a few last work things sorted, talked to my paymaster, got the last few bits of info in and junk...

then spent four and half hours on a lunch date with an awesome person.....

and am going on another date with said amazing / cute/ gorgeous/ well humoured/ person tomorrow night?

So! there are a few Halloween parties coming up though,
so i have full reason to go all out with a Halloween costume!
=D

so, tomorrow will be lots of op-shopping
and costume finding! need to find gloves
and a proper bow tie perhaps...
a cheap long coat in which i can sew heaps of patches...
and tight black jeans of something i can cover in patchwork...

thinking eldar style harlequin...
cross maybe Fame themed Halloween Carnevil party?

you can't have a rainbow without a little rain =)

so!
today,
as typical Hobart weather, was all seasons in one day.
started of really sunny, and so i dressed for it...
and was actually really nice!

not that I actually slept..
but hey,, i had some amazing fun with my friends last night and today, it was great, and i do miss them,
so catching up with them is always great =)

what else....
oh!
i learnt how to use our coffee machine!
at 4 am this morning! =D

heys, don't look at me like that! =P

but otherwise, has had  a good day,
went into town this afternoon, bought some cool little pokemon things
( I lost my little yoshi! very sad :'(    )
and a new book - The Wise Man's Fear, the second after The Name of The Wind 


looking really good so far!

but the rain has put me in a strange mood, so I have moved my bed and mattress out into our lounge room, and have curled up in front of the fire with thai chicken curry and fried-rice,
about to watch Bend It Like Beckham =D


Then, will lie back and read more of the book later, with lots of ice cream, bananas and strawberries for a treat! =D

okay,
I feel bad for this.
but I have to go on this rant.
fell free not to read , unless you are that bored,
or mastering procrastination. =P

I think what a lot of people think of as success, is  a very strange thing indeed.

success isn't fame, it isn't money, or power.
success isn't being loved or lusted by everybody,
or having the biggest house,
or the best looks or the biggest company.


success, is when,

you are so excited to go to what you have to do,
that you literally fly out the door,
when you love the people you work with,
success is connecting with the worked,
and loving do death what you do,
and knowing it makes you happy, and other people happy.
it's falling asleep at night, knowing that you did the best job you could.
success is joy, and freedom and friendship.
ans success, is love.

success is when you are loved and remembered for who you are, now what you do.

that is what I believe.
but for you, well,
that is up to you.
and only you can make that decision, that choice.

It Gets Better.

So,
after my video from yesterday, I felt inspired,
and after recently hearing about the It gets Better Project,
I felt obliged to make  an it gets better video.

this is an amazing project,
as nearly 90% of all LGBTI youth, face harrasment and bullying, both verbal and physical.
and 1 in 3  LGBTI youth attempt suicide.
I myself came quite close  a few times.

so many , this year especially, have taken their lives.

so that is why this is important, and so special.
to prove that it does get better,
and that you are not alone, and that living is worth it.

I cannot tell you enough, you are perfect for who you are, no matter what.

and i got the job!
got my offer of employment in the mail today! *\o/*

very excited!my induction is in three days! wows! =D
well, the first one anyways =D
and then i have a lot of formalities, and
half a book of paperwork to get through..
But I am on second pay grade level, so it's all good, and hopefully will be worth it =)

so! strange ungodly hour walks to buy videos and chocolate...?

so now i lie in bed, watching Fame

what else...oh yes! i made a video for my friend emma!
its was her birthday the other day, and her party,
which I would have loved to attended, and loved the theme idea,

but she, and her party, are  a thousand miles away :'(

so, I got the idea from her girlfriend,
to dress up and make a video for her and send a message of love and birthday wishes. so i did! =D

also, very excited to be going home this weekend! back down to Hobart and the beach,
mum and brother are of to Freycinet,
( yes, i am a little envious =P )

so i get to house sit and look after our Steffi puppy! =D

and have a few friends over, shall be awesome! wii, dancing, midnight walks along beach..
awesome =D

I have already made the music playlist =D

oh, and I also bought a bobble machine for it... O.o

and no, no one of you is allowed to watch that video! it is for emma's eyes only =P
and her girlfriend is allowed to I suppose =P
