a little bit of sunshine

Ah! I must admit, the last twenty fours hours have been pretty awesome =D

I would put photos up, but that would spoil what I am getting my best friend as a present,
and then she would throw various things at me =P

But , I am so glad! I must admit, I can be an impulse buyer, and this was certainly the case,
but as soon as I saw it in it's big, pink fluffy goodness

sitting in the window of morning glory, I knew I HAD to get it for her.

It is something of a joke among our friendship group,

and besides,

it gave me an excuse to wander around town with a giant pink plushie toy under one arm 

=D
It really is pretty awesome fun.
you should try it sometimes =D
its just the giggles, strange, grinning stares that everyone gives you, and you can just walk around as if everything is perfectly normal,
which makes it Soooooo much more fun! =D
but so hard not to laugh! sometimes I had to stop and hid myself behind
a tissue while I paused to laugh like an idiot/schoolgirl ( same thing? XD )

I highly recommend it =D

Also! Spring is here today! everything is in bloom and smells wonderful1 So, now, I am off to sit outside with a book and lunch, and enjoy the sunshine =D

First of all, I am so sick of being sick, that if I am sick for a day longer I am going to...

my half brother Raoul I SO cute! I have missed him so much!
he has grown up so much, has more hair now,
is talking so much more as well!

it's a pity half of it is espanola and I can barely speak as much as he does >.<

and I have missed my Steffi puppy so much too!
i think i am going weird though. I have only had her for the last few days for company, mum and my big little brother are out, or I am asleep..
so it's just me and steffi =P
she is so cute! and bouncy O.o
but I love her. but not when she licks my face to get me to give her food, or to wake me up..
that...not so much.
but she is good for cuddles , and nice big chocolate coloured puppy to cuddle and keep them warm!
who could want more?

....okay, that is a terrible line, and even writing that felt weird.
but steffi comes close =P
I do miss proper cuddles....
so is suppose now is an appropriate time to say that I am glad to be going back to Launie tomorrow,
I miss someone ( hmmm, that sounds so strange...I wonder... )
and I hope they miss me!
hmm. well, I think, at least...

I don't know. I may be going overkill. or the opposite.
I have no idea .

which is centring in the line of my brow and a line above my nose!
it's like it's trying to attack my eye,

and now that am in hobart, my dear mummy has been fussing over me non-stop!
and she wonders why I didn't tell he I was sick!

although last night was rather entertaining,
i was sick and head-ache-y , trying to go to sleep,
and mum was being very mum-ish 

and trying to be very quite whilst playing
Zelda - Ocarina of Time on our old Nintendo 64
(sometimes, I really LOVE my mum XD )

when steffi ( our adorably cute and pathetic-ly naughty puppy )
grabbed one of her bright and multicoloured squeaky toys from her bucket of tuys,
and started running laps around mum, which went something like this...
**ffsqueak!** 

"steffi! shush!'

"'shush!""

and it was about this point that I burst out laughing,
I don;t expect you to share the same hilarity, its just our steffi puppy can be so pathetic,
and acts so innocent and cute when she knows she is doing something wrong.

 so cute! XD

Also! I believe that I finally have images form the other day! sorry for so long!

they had a few little display/ pieces up around the CBD as part of the junction arts festival in launie, 

they had decorated some of the sandbags used when the river flooded a little while ago,
and put the many colourful flowers now in bloom
to good use! and also had used a lot of colourful technology as decoration as well?
as in old plastic toys, camera's, mobile phones?
strange but it worked! =D

I thought they were very cute, and added some well needed and appreciated colour and character!

also, for some reason, they had strung jellyfish creations ( along with some fish and octopus things... ) along the roof in the arcade? =D

again, made from plastic bottles and plastics, so awesome! =D

walking on sunshine

such an awesome day today!
I have lots of photos but no time to edit them now,
so I will put them up tomorrow, i promise!

and i found cute little cafe, with wonderful décor and yummy food! =D
it is called "This Cafe" although it was probably a little fancy for just one
random uni student to go in for a coffee and a bite to eat,
most of the staff gave me evils.
so I left a little happy note telling the chef he rocked and thanks for an awesome coffee!


Also, my happiness today, was seeing a cute guy standing outside the supermarket, promoting the special Olympics, and waving a cute little sign to all the shoppers, upon which he had written
"smile =)" and I must admit it made my day!

such a small, little thing, but so very nice and sweet! =D

well, I think I am doing well.
and the start of the year I had horrible cream/ beige walls.
I still do, unfortunately, but you can;t see them largely,
which is a significant improvement =D

They are now covered in assorted collages, drawings and posters

everything is so much nicer with a bit of colour?
I find it just gives you that extra spark, that extra bit of energy in the morning,
that everyone needs, right?

today's happiness :
our lecturer adressing the class with "Hey Batman!" occasionally,
and doing "The Twist!" dance after making a very dad-joke pun.

Sick!

I am sick!
argh!

This is not good. feeling snuffly and tired.

So, I decided it was a perfect excise for me to have lots of fruit salads for food!
so I went to the greengrocer down the street,
and bought every type of fruit I could find!

I must say,
best tasting thing I have had to eat for being sick!

I started working on a new collage today.
couldn't really do much, so have been drawing / cutting ,  sticking all day!

if I remember, I was scan it in tomorrow and show you all!

this is my most used selection for this.

so whether your are struggling in the middle of a river rapid,
on an all-nighter studying for the essay due yesterday,
or about to become psychopathic-ly possed unless you receive coffee within about ten seconds.

I have on occasion asked for someone to commandeer my lecture. 

no luck yet :"(

or you can quietly insult someone,
or tell them how awesome they are! =D

these are another favourite,
you can declare armageddon over lack of lunch via post it note! =D

this is good for quietly asking someone out on a date

( discreetly, and quietly, no one will ever know! )

or to tell someone who is already fifteen minutes late
that it is probably time to leave the house =P

Weather protest!

So. lately, the weather has been wet, cold, and dreary.
well, I am sick of it!
I was inspired by some sunshine when I awoke for uni, and decided that today,
I would dress in official protest against the winter weather!

So, in low-cut t-shirt and sweet little shorts I strode comfortably to uni in the little sunshine.

well, I think that to  a degree it worked!
we had a lovely amount of sunshine for most of the day,
and it was so warm!
( well, relative to the last week or so anyway XD )

In retrospect, i probably looked slightly whore-ish dressed like it walking around....
and attracted more than a few looks of
"omg is that kid crazy?"

now this, I rarely mind. I find it kinda fun for the most part.

so I went shopping! because shopping in dressed outrageously is SO much fun!

Then, not so good.
normally, looking ridiculous and outrageous is fun, because I know virtually no-one in this city, and those who do know its just me being crazy.

but then there are those who you kind of know, but don't/
and then its a little embarrassing, because you kind of want to be friends, but realise that you look like a retard ( admittedly, a happy retard )

or worse, you see your crush.
and he just gives you that
"omg.....what?"
look.

it was about that point that you just want to vanish
or run away screaming,
and come back ten minutes later looking respectable, as if nothing had happened.

*sigh* 
but I didn't.
because, you know what?
I realised it was most likely my silly paranoia, and that if I liked him and he liked me, he'd see that I was just being me and having fun.

and if not, then my crush was about as inane and stupid as a resort on to the Sea of Tranquillity.

ahh well. XD

nineteen today!
I ran a small experiment,  to see how much people love their precious facebook
just to see who would actually remember.
results? about what I expected,
rather poor XD
although two unexpected ones....
one very unexpected? 
AWESOME!

although I do not normally enjoy birthdays, as getting older scares me,
this was AWESOME! =D and I am very happy with all my friends up here in launie! =D
sometimes, just a nice note or piece of writing can mean so much more than anything of material value! =D

The weather was poor today, raining and cold.
so, I decided to put on all my bright white, purple and red clothing to help me smile.
no point in being as dreary as the weather, show a little sunshine and happiness,
 the cloud's won't hide it for long! <3

Smile! even when no one else does , and when you have lost what seems like all reason too.
because a smile can bring all so much more back, but a frown will bring little but more sadness.
a smile can inspire another, can see the sun behind the clouds, can be the highlight of another's day,
So smile! and you will find happiness! =)

Don't you remember?

Today began very poorly. major headache and sickness.
I thought, well, this is just silly and unproductive.
so, I went into town, at least to sit down, have  nice lunch , do some reading, and go swimming.
at least do something with my day.

To my great surprise, there was some kind of tram restoration thing on in town today!
there were lots of people dressed up, both young and hold, so fun to sit down with chocolate cake and coffee, sit back and watch it! then I realised I had my little camera! so I should in al fairness share the happiness!
but after one photo. the batteries decided they didn't like me. so I had to resort to using my iPod! not great photos, but oh well!
 There were old cowboys on horses!

and there were lots of gorgeous old cars!

And lost of people dressed up in lovely outfits from across various eras =D

so lovely!
and that is how my day went from mr. grump-a-lot to happiness!
I just wish I had gotten more photos!

scary.I am not sure I want to be nineteen...

Happy coincidence: my good friend Freya is also learning swedish! =D

now hopefully, I will have someone to practice with!
the sentence structure is very similar to english, only a few new letters, a bit of new pronunciation, and there are quite a few similar words....should be good =D
( I started learning about two months ago.. )

I am also now quite certain that I am going to change courses completely , out of architecture.
it is fun, but... I don't have a passion for it. I have considered going to interior design, which would certainly be better.
may still.

but will definitely have to take up some Costume design or Psyche/ sociology electives if I intend to do that...

I need to find my passion!
( well, I have a few, just...something I can plausibly study and make a living from =P )

Suggestions...?

Well , I guess we'll see what happens.

Sometimes I get sick of being called an abomination....
but that's okay.
I learnt not to care, as bad as it sounds...
I know who I am,
and I am proud.
everything happens for a reason,
the good and the bad, it makes us who we are, it makes us stronger.
for better or for worse, I will never be ashamed of who I am.

I would be the last person to admit I do not have my faults, but no-one is perfect.
and that is what makes everything right!
a perfect world, would be a very, very boring place indeed.

To each and every one of you ; know who you are. know that each of you in yourselves are perfect, but at the same time imperfect. ( it is your imperfection that makes you perfect! =D ) because you are who you are, and our lives, and the way we live them, are so for a reason, because of events or circumstances and emotions that makes us feel and cause us to be who we are and how we act, whether to teach us a lesson , or a moral.
In this we will always strive to be better people, and in doing this...I think we achieve it...

so, none of that really made much sense. oh well.
Also, I enjoyed going to the supermarket dressed semi-formally.
such fun! =D

Hmmm, quiet day today.
Slept in, then into town for swimming and a few errands.
Lunch was nice, good carrot cake! <3
I'm trying out as many different cafe's in Launceston as I can on my days of Uni,
just trying to find some nice ones =)

After I finished training, I realised I was late and I hadn't got Sara her present yet!
Desperatly ran around town looking for any florist that was open,
and no luck!

then, by pure brilliant chance,
the florist on the corner of a small laneway , in which we are basing one of our Uni assignments,
had left the open sign up!
she saw me looking in, and recognised me,
and let me in asking if she could help!
no nice red roses, she said
( yes, cliche, but some people love cliche- if it is cliche, it is usually so for a reason! )
then she saw my necklace and flustered of it, and found me a lovely bunch of Lilliums instead!

So was wandering around Launie in skinny jeans and dark red low-cut shirt, and a giant bunch of flowers!
some very interesting looks and stares! I think every girl/ woman that walked past stared at me, and more than a few glanced down at the flowers, up and me and my nervous smile, and gave the cutest little smiles!

very nice, gave me a nice warm feeling inside.

I suppose I don't really know her that well, but she just broke up with her boyfriend, and a good bunch of flowers is always nice,
so I hope she likes them!

One day I hope to be able to get down on one knee and ask the fiancée boyfriend of my dreams to marry me....

Such a wonderful day Today!
So much fun! So sunny! 
spent entire lunch break out in the sun, with jeans rolled up, and a gigantic coffee and
some love-heart shaped fairy-bread I made whilst procrastinating against uni homework.
strange, its only just past midwinter?

Walking around with bright red jeans. Is fun- you feel like and idiot, and everyone stares at you kind of going  "what the fuck....?"
....and I love it!
Last year I would deliberately do all my present shopping first when I walked into town, just so I could spend the next few hours wandering around with - in one case- a giant one-up mushroom plushy ( super mario! ) under my arm whilst shopping.

The reactions you get are so awesome. From complete random's walking up to it and hugging it screaming "OMG I WANT ONE WHERE DID YOU GET IT IT'S AWESOME!",

To people walking by glancing over, seeing, looking away, then registering that they had in-fact seen it, and looking back eyes wide and staring and mouthing "what the fuck!?"

So much fun!

Anyway. That was my day. How was yours? =)
