hard to function without convenient way or talking to people and organising stuff!

I swear o.O

i have just been  working, lots.
everyday.
and only finished uni last week.
and my amazing boyfriend - I like to spend as much time with him as i can. sorry,

waking up is hard. had to get up at  four thirty this morning!
that's the hard bit. once your actually up,
it's fun, and quite nice =)

makes you feel accomplished, to have finished work before half the world is even awake =D
to look out over the misty hills and trees on your hill, over the pools
( which were steaming- it was sooo cold this morning! )
watching the sunrise.

and then I saw them sneakily kiss!

sorry it has been s long!
I have been feeling a bit sick lately, sorry guys :/

so yeah, costume didn't make it, currently lying in bed at home sick and half asleep wishing i was out with my friends.

I know. epic achievement in procrastination =D
i live an amazing life don't I.....

but oh well. I will finish the costume soon, just letting a layer of paint dry for now.

in other news...UNI is all over now =D
and I have just had my first two shifts at my new work last week =)

work is very awesome, richard, one of the guys who's been "training" me
( i say "training" as we soon discovered that I have been lifeguarding as long as he has XD )
he's pretty awesome =D
and the customer service girls and ladies are pretty awesome =D
I'm not sure of her name, only that she has a senior position and blonde hair, and a  giant smile constantly,
they are all really nice and bubbly and friendly, and she in particular is just a little crazy =D

it's amazing =D

oh! and we have cleaners! which means no more cleaning changerooms!
no more scrubbing toilets and showers! =D

this is actually amazing =D

it's just....parents are so hypocritical. mine especially.
they treat you like a ten year old, and if you don't act like an adult they punish you like a ten year old, and speak to you like a ten year old constantly anyway.

and they wonder why we get angry at them>

i never actually went through the 'rebellion"

stage. i have never shouted at my mum ( well, since i was like thirteen )
although if we ever didn't agree on something, i would try and actually have a discussion about it,
( as i have always done debates and philosophy studies )

and she would just yell and scream
"don't argue with me! " how dare you! I'm your mother!'
show some respect!" don't you dare yell at me! '

i never did any of that. she expected me to act like an adult, and i was trying as hard as i could to actually act and converse like one.

and I got screamed at like I was eight.


that is why I don't like my mum so much.

I know that she only ever wants the best for me,
but I just wish parent would stop being so controlling!
i mean still? really? ye gods! 

she was the one that was so forceful to get me to move out of home,
that was wanting me to pay rent in my own home if i was to stay now that i was eighteen,
and we actually had to go through counselling to negotiate what i was to go this year
( i.e gap year v.s year thirteen vs University )

well look how well that worked out -.-

i think i just need to work out how to stand up for myself.
normally i am okay with this,
but to our parents? is something i think we all struggle with.

i think sometimes we have to show and tell them that we want, and are ready, to take control and need to live our own lives, not the ones they dream or idolise for us to live.

i missed out a lot on it in my youth,

but it just never happened in our neighbourhood.

until I was about fifteen.

well...i got a few last work things sorted, talked to my paymaster, got the last few bits of info in and junk...

then spent four and half hours on a lunch date with an awesome person.....

So! there are a few Halloween parties coming up though,

today,
as typical Hobart weather, was all seasons in one day.
started of really sunny, and so i dressed for it...
and was actually really nice!

not that I actually slept..
but hey,, i had some amazing fun with my friends last night and today, it was great, and i do miss them,
so catching up with them is always great =)

i learnt how to use our coffee machine!
at 4 am this morning! =D

but otherwise, has had  a good day,
went into town this afternoon, bought some cool little pokemon things
( I lost my little yoshi! very sad :'(    )
and a new book - The Wise Man's Fear, the second after The Name of The Wind 


looking really good so far!

but the rain has put me in a strange mood, so I have moved my bed and mattress out into our lounge room, and have curled up in front of the fire with thai chicken curry and fried-rice,
about to watch Bend It Like Beckham =D

it's falling asleep at night, knowing that you did the best job you could.
success is joy, and freedom and friendship.
ans success, is love.

success is when you are loved and remembered for who you are, now what you do.

that is what I believe.
but for you, well,
that is up to you.
and only you can make that decision, that choice.

as nearly 90% of all LGBTI youth, face harrasment and bullying, both verbal and physical.
and 1 in 3  LGBTI youth attempt suicide.
I myself came quite close  a few times.

so many , this year especially, have taken their lives.

we have had such nice weather this week!

..bar yesterday, when there was a storm

so, made full advantage of it today!

my alarm clock hates me.

anyways,
it was actually so hot i was overheating waiting for the bus stop in
my shorts and open top shirt! ( it's purple =D )
so nice =D

and since I haven't indulged myself with a lunch for a few weeks,
I allowed myself today.
I found a tiny tiny cafe that does a huge variety of coffee's, so struck out on a limb and tried a "toffee coffee"
?    =P
was actually pretty cool =)

Oh!
you know those oversized smartie-cookies they sell everywhere?

i have never actually had one!
so i got one with my coffee,
and wow!
despite it being 2pm and not having eaten, i didn't actually manage to finish it! it was so filling!

oh, amusing moment ;
a car that was so stuffed up. i spent about fifteen seconds thinking,
" wow that toddler has an amazing set of lungs..."
and looking for the hoodie and tank-top clad toddler ,

before realising it was a car attempting to go around the corner....

I also discovered on wednesday,
that this city is not a hole, as so many would tell you.

no hole has so many friggin hills in it!
I, in my glorious time management and planning skills,
game myself about ten minutes to memorize the walk to the medical clinic from town on google maps,
just before I left home for it,
and estimated it would take me about half an hour walk.

thankfully, I have a good sense of direction,

because google maps gave no sense of scale, or terrain.

my legs, were so sore, when I got to the clinic, ( it was also sweltering-ly hot )
i was exhausted, and hadn't even started my medical examination.


what else.....


ahh yes!
sorry, I do love my tangents =P

so, I spent most of this afternoon wandering through city park, finding all the little nooks and shaded places,
and the sunny ones too =D
end enjoying the park in it's springtime beauty and peace =)
I love those gnarled old trees, which are just covered in boles,
that just make you think,
that is so climb-able....


and you momentarily forget there are several dozen other people in the park, you are a nineteen year old guy glad in white and purple ,
and begin mind mapping where you are going to put your hand, visualizing the climb to that awesome fork up the tree you can see,....
and just as you go to put that foot on the base and reach out for that bole with your hand,

reality come flooding back.

sucks, SO much.......


oh well.
one day, tree, when no one is watching...I am coming for you! =D

th best hair or what ever you are worried about with yourself,

i find it helps to think as if life is a game of poker.
we can't change the cards we have been dealt,
but , 

that doesn't matter so much.
if you can convince everyone else that you have different cards to the ones you have,
they don't really mean much now do they?
I found this works, and helps...sometimes.

at the very least, it's a lot of fun =P

anyways! very excited, i am going down to Hobart this weekend! so happy! will be trying to catch up with a few people as i can, which will be great!
haven't seen so many people in months!
I do miss seeing my friends so often =P

my sleep patterns of late has been something strange, and I have been feeling quite down i suppose.

so, i was a little bit sick of it by today.

so, as I always do, i got my skinny red jeans out,
found a nice simple light blue t-shirt length buisness shirt with checked  pattern on pocket and cuffs,
got my suspenders,
my funky belt and boots,
and my 8-bit bowtie =D

so much fun =D

still a little down in feeling though.
no idea why.

oh well.
someone cheer me up please? :/

oh! and we watched St Trinians last night!
so glad! such an awesome movie! =D

and i discovered that the child in Wuthering Heights has the same name as me! argh!
if i was named after a character in Wuthering Heights, I may have to change my name :/

oh well. downloading lots of music from St Trinians now, loved the last number =D

also! Glee!
although i have only watched about half a dozen episodes this year, I watched the premier for this upcoming season last night, was pretty good.

although, when they attempted to do a cover of Hairspray's you can't stop the beat, i hid in a corner and called it blasphemy. it was that bad. really. you just can't do that. it wasn't right....


other than that,awesome episode, loved it =)
and please, I am not a gleek,
and as a rule i rarely prefer their covers to the original.
I don't know, I suppose it's just my occasional dose of drama.
characters...I don't actually like many of them :/
they all annoy me, they don't seem...real...?

i mean, i like mercedes, she is awesome, and tina and mike, very cool =D

kurt...annoys me the most. I know , that being a gay guy i should for some reaspn love him, but his character is appalling! so self absorbed and arrogant...
and he really puches it soetimes. i don't like his outfits :/

Blaine , on the other hand, is awesome, he is a more relaxed, not so over the top character.
and, bonus, he is super sexy >.<

n.b. no, not a crush, i just think he's cute. I have never had a celebrity crush, neither do i plan to. that would just be plain silly and pointless.

about thinking, I suppose.
how we are all our own most harsh critique of our own work,
 and how we look,
about everything we do and say,
how well we do,
in life,
in work,
i school....
and we punish ourselves enough for our actions and mistakes more often than not,
with our own guilty and emotional stress we place on ourselves with regret, remorse and chagrin.

but how strange is it, because, we are never actually a very good judge of ourselves?
I don't know how to say this...we never really realise who we are for ourselves, I think.

do you understand?
we never really figure out our own style,
or how we work best,
what we are best at,
what kind of people we are,
where we fit....

don't you think?

so strange.

So, I don't know...
that's why I don't mind, hell,
I appreciate it when people tell me what they think of me, but only if they are honest, else there really sin't much point....



So, I can't say I have had a huge amount of stuff going on,
it just takes up all of my emotional energy and thinking caoacuty,
since I din't really understand much of it.

I know I am changing a lot right now,
and I don't think I am cioping very well...

I am not sure

and that scares me, a lot.

how ever, the part that scares me most, is that a small part of me,
and what's worse is it appears to be growing,
doesn't care, how I am changing, or who i am....

and that scares the hell out of me.

the one thing, I have always prided myself on, is being a good person.
and I have always known that, to the depths of who i am,

and part of me worries,

I don't think I understand what you call the concept of " drama"
I think I see it more as living, whilst having emotions switched on.
for a long time I didn't, and couldn't, and I was horrified by it, by who I was....

I think I was wrong like that.

but I don't understand why you can't listen to someone's problems and juts be bored or annoyed by it, that someone wouldn't feel compassion and empathy for them, to do something?
that to me is wrong.
I would, ( and do, when  get the option )
sit and read and talk to my friends who share their troubles and problems, and all the little nitty-gritty of life and living in all its'f forms.

and i think that's how you get to know people, how strong friendships are made, by showing that you care,.....

but hell, I really don't care what those emotionally dead people with no sympathy or compassion think.

so, had MAICon today,
was a lot of awesome fun, will put photos up when i can,

so, my Vaan costume didn't quite make it,
so I had to wear my Asurmen costume again.
guess what?
I WON the cosplay! =D

oh well. I am now going to sit down and finish my Vaan costume.
may wear it to the ArchiBall on wednesday. we'll see I guess =)


so! was a lot of fun, their were lots of games, events and lots of stuff to buy!
not quite as awesome as AICon, but still very cool =D

for example, I was part of a cosplay date, ...
and auction...
I was part of the deal or no deal game...
tentacles and mechs..
( an anime themed rip off of spicks and specs =P )
and a super smash bros. brawl tournament ...
( I failed miserably! I haven't played it in months and had forgotten most of the buttons XD )
and of course the Cosplay competition and the Fruits competition!
 for those who don;t know, fruits is like a fashion style / show for lolita and anime style costumes =)
very cool! =)

got a few little things ( an 8-bit bow tie for example )
which I thought were absolutely adorable and had to get! and a necklace with a cuckoo clock on it! =D
so awesome!

how eventful.
well, I think I am at least officially dating this
( very cute, humerous, fun loving , and even crazier than I am! =D
and...i don;t know. he's just fun to be around! he is a fun person and personality =D
and zomg actually only a tiny but taller than me XD )

and..I don't know. I know I have to be careful,
and I know that no relationship is going to be a fairytale.

anyway, there was a point to that!
i swear!
so, dancing together out on town last night,
( he seems to know everyone I swear! )
and when i first walked in and met him, in the middle of the dancefloor,
we kissed, and I remember to my amusement hearing behind me from several blondes;
"oh my god! is that two guys?""I think it is" Oh my god! **hysterical laughter**"

I found it rather amusing XD
and then later, when half surrounded my a few of his friends, a few ( to my knowledge )
random chicks who I think had been watching us, walk up and say
"hey, are you guys gay?'
in a very suss voice,

and my this cute boy   (who shall remain unnamed =P )
decided to become a rather playful  they were whilst watching, exchanging playful slaps and pokes,
until finally leaning over and kissing me!
in the middle of the outside-dance-area-thing
which resulted in a massive cheer from all assembled friends and random girls watching XD

This made my night XD
( well, apart from this very cute and amazing guy, of course =P )

So, after most of the morning ( okay, fine , and lucnhtime as well =P )
was spent sleeping in with said brilliant boy,

comes homes,
and decides to sit outside in the wonderful sunshine and work for a few hours.

I don't understand why people don't do it more often.
instead, people seem to sit in side and complain about not being out in the sun, stuck inside studying.

i worked this one out years ago!
honestly.
just take a matt or rug or something lay it down on the grass, grab your iPod or speakers, take your work out with you,
lie down ,do your work and enjoy the sun!

it just makes sense. otherwise, you waste so much time inside wishing you were outside you get next to nothing done! so just go outside and do it there! it is so much more efficient! =D

I have had an awesome day today,
stared off a little early, got up and got a few bits of costume done,
before heading onto town
tp go swimming, get the last few things for my costume,
pay rent and buy some food for
my awesome friend Jess' birthday picnic! =D

which was awesome fun, met lots of new people who were all lovely
and I am pretty sure jess had a ball, which was the plan =D
good times =)

So now I lie in bed watching Natalie Tran on youtube, laughing myself into fits,

and browsing The Cool Hunter for awesome photos and inspiration =D

I must admit , I did find it rather amusing.
but, hell, why cats?
i know cats are the cliche 
creatures for lonely peoples...
but ...well...WHY?
now, I am not a cat or dog person, I like both.
and I must say, most cats, when you try to hug them, try to claw your face off,
and are generally evil.
true, people say cat's have personality and dogs don't, 
( I disagree ) 
but cats, if they do, most cats are cynical, eccentric, selfish and evil! ) 
but very, very , very cute and fluffy! =D 
or the typical short-haired serene-gazing cat that sits on tall objects and stare down at passers-by.
those cats give me the creeps.


still cool though =D

so. sorry, I will leave the tangent now...back to my other rant. XD


But I would definitely go for a few dogs 
as oppose to living surrounded by a score of cats....


they may not all be hugely bright 
which is why I'd get huskies or malamutes =D
( they are supposedly smart ( er? ) dogs...
which are medium-large , fluffy, happy, beautiful dogs ( love their eyes =D ) 



and yeah, they require a bit of looking after, but so what.


they are happy, loyal, bouncy creatures that love hugs and to play with, 
which is much more what a sad, depressed lonely person needs,


rather than two dozen cats which probably will just sit there glaring, 
scratching and giving that
I-am-so-much-better-than-you,-you-lowly-pathetic-human-thing!
stare that they always give you when they are in a bad mood
( which is when they are tired, have just woken up, have just eaten, or are hungry )
....
so....most of the time? 
=P

Thus,
I, will live alone, but not lonely , surrounded by 
a dozen  big, loyal, cuddly and cute dogs 
that love me as much as I love them! =D

Yoshi's day out =D

So.
since my friend now knows what is in stall for her....
I figure I may as well have some fun with it.
so today Yoshi came with me
on my daily errands =D

He doesn't get on very with my current room-mates...

When we went shopping,

he got put in the naughty basket for misbehaving while we were going through the greens....

and turned those sook-ish puppy-dog eyes of his on me when I walked straight past the chocolates!

the lovely lady at the counter gave a a confuzzled,

"well he's cute isn't he? "

before wondering why he was shopping for groceries with me....

then lunch time! we went into town.

he tried to steal my milkshake!

 =O

AND was eyeing off my chocolate muffin!
I swear I saw him take a few bites....


A lot of people gave me strange stares at this point...

 sitting and eating muffin and milkshake with a large pink Yoshi....
So I made a sign,
saying, " SMILE! =D "
 and stuck it
 to his feet and sat him up, facing everyone that walked past.

I think I may have to do that again.
do you mind if I mind him a little longer? =D

I tell you, those smiles I got?
made my day.
It gave me something to smile for,
and today that's really what I needed =D

I have problems with my tear ducts,
and I need to know they work =P
when I was two they were blocked, and caused me all kinds of hell,
and had to have a lot of surgery to sort it all out.

Ah! I must admit, the last twenty fours hours have been pretty awesome =D

I would put photos up, but that would spoil what I am getting my best friend as a present,
and then she would throw various things at me =P

But , I am so glad! I must admit, I can be an impulse buyer, and this was certainly the case,
but as soon as I saw it in it's big, pink fluffy goodness

sitting in the window of morning glory, I knew I HAD to get it for her.

It is something of a joke among our friendship group,

and besides,

it gave me an excuse to wander around town with a giant pink plushie toy under one arm 

=D
It really is pretty awesome fun.
you should try it sometimes =D
its just the giggles, strange, grinning stares that everyone gives you, and you can just walk around as if everything is perfectly normal,
which makes it Soooooo much more fun! =D
but so hard not to laugh! sometimes I had to stop and hid myself behind
a tissue while I paused to laugh like an idiot/schoolgirl ( same thing? XD )

I highly recommend it =D

Also! Spring is here today! everything is in bloom and smells wonderful1 So, now, I am off to sit outside with a book and lunch, and enjoy the sunshine =D

i think i am going weird though. I have only had her for the last few days for company, mum and my big little brother are out, or I am asleep..

but I love her. but not when she licks my face to get me to give her food, or to wake me up..

I am still rather sick, and I have a strange headache

which is centring in the line of my brow and a line above my nose!
it's like it's trying to attack my eye,

 but it hasn't worked out that I'm not a cyclops yet...

oh dear. poor, silly little illness! XD

and now that am in hobart, my dear mummy has been fussing over me non-stop!
and she wonders why I didn't tell he I was sick!

although last night was rather entertaining,
i was sick and head-ache-y , trying to go to sleep,
and mum was being very mum-ish 

and trying to be very quite whilst playing
Zelda - Ocarina of Time on our old Nintendo 64
(sometimes, I really LOVE my mum XD )

when steffi ( our adorably cute and pathetic-ly naughty puppy )
grabbed one of her bright and multicoloured squeaky toys from her bucket of tuys,
and started running laps around mum, which went something like this...
**ffsqueak!** 

"steffi! shush!'
**ffsqueak ffsqueak??**
"'shush!""
**.....ffsqueak!!!**
""steffi!""
**ffsqueak ffsqueak!!**
"steffi! stop it! ""
...

.

**ffsqueak!!**
"STEFFI! SHUSH!"

and it was about this point that I burst out laughing,
I don;t expect you to share the same hilarity, its just our steffi puppy can be so pathetic,
and acts so innocent and cute when she knows she is doing something wrong.

 so cute! XD

Also! I believe that I finally have images form the other day! sorry for so long!

they had a few little display/ pieces up around the CBD as part of the junction arts festival in launie, 

they had decorated some of the sandbags used when the river flooded a little while ago,
and put the many colourful flowers now in bloom
to good use! and also had used a lot of colourful technology as decoration as well?
as in old plastic toys, camera's, mobile phones?
strange but it worked! =D

I thought they were very cute, and added some well needed and appreciated colour and character!

also, for some reason, they had strung jellyfish creations ( along with some fish and octopus things... ) along the roof in the arcade? =D

again, made from plastic bottles and plastics, so awesome! =D

such an awesome day today!
I have lots of photos but no time to edit them now,
so I will put them up tomorrow, i promise!

and i found cute little cafe, with wonderful décor and yummy food! =D
it is called "This Cafe" although it was probably a little fancy for just one
random uni student to go in for a coffee and a bite to eat,
most of the staff gave me evils.
so I left a little happy note telling the chef he rocked and thanks for an awesome coffee!


Also, my happiness today, was seeing a cute guy standing outside the supermarket, promoting the special Olympics, and waving a cute little sign to all the shoppers, upon which he had written
"smile =)" and I must admit it made my day!

such a small, little thing, but so very nice and sweet! =D

well, I think I am doing well.
and the start of the year I had horrible cream/ beige walls.
I still do, unfortunately, but you can;t see them largely,
which is a significant improvement =D

They are now covered in assorted collages, drawings and posters
=D
everything is so much nicer with a bit of colour?
I find it just gives you that extra spark, that extra bit of energy in the morning,
that everyone needs, right?

today's happiness :
our lecturer adressing the class with "Hey Batman!" occasionally,
and doing "The Twist!" dance after making a very dad-joke pun.
gotta love it XD

Sick!

I am sick!
argh!

This is not good. feeling snuffly and tired.

So, I decided it was a perfect excise for me to have lots of fruit salads for food!
so I went to the greengrocer down the street,
and bought every type of fruit I could find!

I must say,
best tasting thing I have had to eat for being sick!

I started working on a new collage today.
couldn't really do much, so have been drawing / cutting ,  sticking all day!

if I remember, I was scan it in tomorrow and show you all!
